What You Need To Know Before He Pops The Question

Thursday, January 31st, 2008
by Wendy Bridger

Now that February 14th is around the corner, all the shops are stocked with the usual Valentines Day gifts. Flowers are always a favorite gift to give and receive. But, for many women, this is a time of anticipation, wondering if they will open a small ring box this holiday loaded with a question every woman waits to hear.

Being proposed to is such a memorable occasion for anyone. My husband surprised me with a traditional military saber arch with him kneeling at the end, with ring in hand, and a simple question that changed my life forever. Even if he wasn’t the one for me, it would have been hard to say no to such a proposal. Accepting it was truly the best choice I have ever made.

To Understand Weather Styles, Understand Air Movement

Thursday, January 31st, 2008
by Greg Hansward

What makes weather, well, weather? The simple answer might be the Earth’s atmosphere and the changes that take place there. But take the investigation a step farther and ask how those changes occur. Or better yet, why they occur.

There is one factor that can take most of the blame (or credit) depending on how the weather change affects life on Earth. Without the sun, we would have no weather formations. First of all, without a sun to warm the planet the atmosphere and everything else would be frozen. But thanks to the sun’s warmth air masses warm up, rise, cool, sink toward the ground and so forth. These patterns of circulation have the distinct task of creating differences in atmospheric pressure. The resulting air movement is commonly called win.

Squats, Squatters And More Squatting (part 1)

Thursday, January 31st, 2008
by Mick Hart

If someone down the gym tells you that their favourite exercise is squats, well they would be either genetically gifted, they may be a masochist or just a bullshiter. While squatting is as a natural position as resting or having a pee, it is in fact as unnatural as my x wife’s tits when having a heavy weight crushing into your neck and straightening up from a curved spine position. Although it is an unnatural movement it doesn’t mean it isn’t a quality exercise, but the normal reaction would be that you get it over and done with asap.

When it comes to Squatters, the greatest of all time was in doubt the late Paul Anderson, who was claimed to be “Worlds Strongest Man”. He actually said that he had done thousands of squats but that he had hated every single one of them and that he couldn’t possibly understand anyone that claimed to actually like doing them. We all know that squats are going to be painful but they are are must in strength training.

Do Storage Companies Provide Enough Content Insurance?

Thursday, January 31st, 2008
by Amy Nutt

We all know people who have moving horror stories. Even if a move goes perfectly, it’s bound to be stressful and exhausting. When you’re dealing with large-scale moves, big rental trucks and self storage, the stress compounds even further.

Self-storage facilities generally don’t have that great of a reputation, whether they deserve it or not. Generally, you get what you pay for. If you use the cheapest storage unit you can find, in the seediest part of town, with the scummiest employees imaginable, you might be putting your precious snow globe collection at risk. On the other hand, you might shell out a small fortune for the best climate controlled, 24-hour attended storage unit you can find, and have an accident or theft still occur. Nothing is failure-proof.

Winery Tours On America’s First Wine Trail

Thursday, January 31st, 2008
by Jim Hofman

America’s fascinating wine making history is rooted in the efforts of European immigrants, who brought their skills to America throughout the 1800’s. Long before California and other west coast wine producing states were settled, other areas of the country were busy producing wines from native grape vines growing in the wild. In the 1830’s, a group of German immigrants settled in the Missouri river valley, about an hour west of St. Louis near the present historic town of Hermann, Missouri.

These early settlers noted how the topography and climate of the river valley resembled their European home areas of Germany and Switzerland. In particular, various grape varieties were growing wild on hillsides surrounding Hermann, prompting founding fathers and town leaders to encourage further cultivation and ultimately, wine making. After a few short years, the prolific grape crop merged with the settler’s wine making skills, and America’s first wine district was born.
